Get ready for the 4th of July!

First of all, I can't believe tomorrow is the first day of July. June came and went so fast! It is also throwing me off because we had such a crazy winter, I feel like we just skipped spring and moved right on to summer. But I'm not complaining!

With 4th of July around the corner, I have been making lots of patriotic necklaces lately. In my Etsy shop, I have four different 4th of July patriotic style necklaces - including a "She's A Firecracker" Lilly Pulitzer necklace. Check them out!

With these orders, I even had a special custom order for a monogram version of these necklaces. I was so excited to get the order, it turned out so adorable!

Introducing Monograms to Kellembell

I am very excited to announce that Kellembell now offers monograms on our necklaces! This idea has been in the making for a while now, and I couldn't be more excited to officially offer it in my Etsy Store.

For these Kellembell necklaces, the monograms are only offered on the "Medium Size" necklaces (the style that I'm wearing here).

In my store, I have two new listings featuring these monograms:

The first is the Monogrammed Chevron Fabric Covered Button Necklaces. There are different options of color combinations to choose from in these listing. The monogram on the necklace will be white, however, if there is a different color that you would like, please let me know!

The second is the Monogrammed Lilly Pulitzer Fabric Covered Button Necklaces.

Memorial Day Weekend

This past holiday weekend, I had the luxury of taking a trip with my boyfriend Mark, and our two friends Jon & Phil down to Sarasota, Florida. We had the best time together out in the sun on the beach and by the pool, on the dock, at the bar, and even at the outlets! Surprisingly, I didn't have to drag them out to the outlets...they were all for it! Maybe not all for me spending so much time in Kate Spade and J.Crew, but hey. They were great sports.

My boyfriend, Mark, and I only get to see each other once or twice a month. Thanks long distance dating! The times we do get together, he always helps me out with taking pictures of my outfits and my Kellembell jewelry. He is getting the hang of it! He is used to taking pictures of me for my Instagram, but now he has started to use the Nikon. He's moving up! Thank you Mark :)

While out shopping, I got a fantastic haul, all for amazing holiday deals. I snagged these adorable Seahorse Printed Chinos at 50% off at J.Crew, great for the summer ahead. I also got this Scalloped Hinged Bangle and Skinny Bow Bracelet both 50% off from Kate Spade. Naturally, I wore them out the day I bought them. How could I not!

This weekend was also the perfect time to pull out my Kellembell "She's A Firecracker" Lilly Pulitzer Necklace, perfect to celebrate Memorial Day! A great way to bring patriotism to your outfit. On a more serious note, Memorial Day isn't about going on vacation or going shopping. It is such an important day to our country. It is so important to take a step back, and think of those who have risked their lives so we can do things such as go on these vacations, and live such blessed lives.

Family Weekend

This past weekend, I traveled back home to see my family. As I've mentioned and written about before, my mom has a booth at On A Whim where she sells her refurbished furniture that she recreates, along with many found and loved vintage household pieces. Her booth is inside of the barn at On A Whim. For this beautiful weekend, On A Whim held a special event where many more vendors were able to sell outside on the lawn. Mom expanded the inside of her booth to an additional spot on the lawn so she could have more room to show off!

When mom and I go to these shows, we always need a lot of set up and take down help.

My not-so-little brother, Jeff, is always there to help out. Sometimes he even expresses his creative side and will re-layout the space once sometimes sells. He's a crack up.

I've been beginning to notice that most of my wardrobe is from J.Crew. That is fine with me! Probably because I shop every one of their sales, and only ask for their clothes for Christmas...

Kelly In The City & Kellembell

A couple weeks ago, I connected with a wonderful blogger, Kelly, at kellyinthecity.com. I have admired her blog for a long time, following her wonderful fashion sense and beautiful photos of her NYC explorations. I finally got the courage to ask if she would be interested in doing a collaboration, and she was very excited! I knew she would be a perfect fit for my Kellembell collection. 

I sent Kelly my most popular design, the Lilly Pulitzer Button Statement Necklace, and couldn't wait to see how she styled it on her blog. This design features Lilly's "Sailor Patch" fabric, which is fun because it incorporates so many different prints and colors.
